• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe - we never see your card details)
• Order details (items, pickup time)

We use this information solely to:

• Process your order and prepare your coffee
• Send you a payment receipt via email
• Maintain sales records for accounting and VAT purposes

Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)

We process your data under the following lawful bases:

• Contract performance (Art 6(1)(b)): Your name and order details are necessary to fulfill your coffee order
• Legitimate interests (Art 6(1)(f)): Your email is used to send transaction receipts, which you reasonably expect to receive
• Legal obligation (Art 6(1)(c)): Sales and VAT records must be retained for 6 years as required by HMRC

How long we keep your data

• Order details (name, items): Deleted automatically after 30 days
• Email addresses: Deleted after receipt is sent (typically within 1 hour)
• Sales amounts and VAT records: Retained for 6 years (legal requirement)

We only keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above.

How we protect your information

• All payments are processed securely by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified)
• Your data is stored in encrypted databases (Neon PostgreSQL with SSL)
• We never store your card details - Stripe handles all payment data
• We do not share your information with third parties except Stripe for payment processing

This website uses essential cookies required for:

• Payment processing (Stripe fraud prevention and session management)
• Remembering your basket items while you browse
• Storing your cookie preference

The site cannot function without these cookies as they are necessary for secure online payments.

Terms & Conditions

Ordering & Payment

• Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable (20% on hot drinks, 0% on cold takeaway beverages in accordance with HMRC VAT Notice 701/14)
• Payment is processed securely via Stripe
• Orders are confirmed upon successful payment
• You will receive an email receipt from Stripe after payment

Collection

• Orders must be collected at 10 Broad Street, Deal during opening hours (06:30-15:00 daily)
• Choose your preferred collection time when ordering (or immediate pickup)
• Please collect your order within 15 minutes of your scheduled time

Cancellations & Refunds

• Once payment is made, orders cannot be cancelled as preparation begins immediately
• Refunds may be provided at our discretion for orders not collected within 30 minutes of scheduled time
• Coffee and food products are perishable goods exempt from the Consumer Rights Act 2015 14-day return period
• If there's an issue with your order, please contact us immediately via WhatsApp

Liability

• We prepare all items with care but cannot guarantee suitability for specific dietary requirements
• If you have allergies, please inform staff when collecting your order
• We are not liable for delays in collection caused by customer circumstances

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
